We pick you up from your hotel in the early morning in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and drive from there via Safaga for another 230 km to Luxor (different route from Marsa Alam). During most of our trip you will enjoy the desert landscape with the volcanic mountains created by nature until we come to the Nile valley and our Luxor. Here you get authentic impressions of the typical everyday life in the rural villages in the Nile valley and now our Luxor private program begins.In Luxor, we visit the Karnak temple complex, the most beautiful and the largest temple complex in the world. Karnak Temple is known as the largest religious building in human history. we go to an Egyptian restaurant, where we will have a freshly cooked lunch typical of the country.Then we drive to the Valley of the Kings, the largest necropolis in Egypt. 64 rock tombs were discovered in the Valley of the Kings. There we visit three pharaonic tombs and marvel at the beautiful colors and the great reliefs. In the Valley of the Kings, you will learn a lot about the beliefs of the ancient Egyptians, the mummification, and the construction of a tomb.Then we take a look at the impressive Colossi of Memnon. They are the only remains of the temple of Amenophis III. Then we visit the terraced temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the few female rulers in ancient Egypt. how did you come to power? how could you prevail in a time when only men had something to say? And your Egyptologist will answer several more questions.After these diverse impressions and after this eventful day, we make our way back in peace. You will be back at the hotel at around 8 p.m.Luxor private enables you to learn a lot about ancient Egypt and will remain in your memories for a long time.
